May 27, 2026 The Deputy Commissioner of Haripur visited Central Jail Haripur on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, met with the prisoners, and extended Eid greetings to them. He inquired about the facilities provided within the jail and listened to their concerns.
The Deputy Commissioner praised the ongoing reformatory, technical, and vocational courses in the prison, stating that such programs play a crucial role in transforming prisoners into useful citizens of society.
On this occasion, the Superintendent of Jail briefed him on the various training and productive activities currently underway for the inmates.
