July 23, 2026 A delegation from the Federal Judicial Academy Islamabad conducted a detailed visit to Central Jail Haripur. The delegation was led by Additional District & Sessions Judge Syeda Nadia Shah, Madam Bushra Kaukab, and Additional District & Sessions Judge Mr. Azam, accompanied by Senior Civil Judge/Admin Haripur Mr. Aqib and Judicial Magistrate Madam Sidra Younis.
Superintendent of Jail Mr. Najam Abbasi and Deputy Superintendent of Jail Mr. Moqaddas Khan welcomed the delegation and provided a comprehensive briefing regarding the prison’s operations, management, and ongoing welfare initiatives. Following the briefing, the delegation was taken on a guided tour of various sections of the facility, including the hospital wards, cookhouse, drug rehabilitation center, and the jail factory.
At the conclusion of the visit, the honorable delegation expressed their sincere gratitude to the jail authorities and highly commended the standard of facilities and reformative services provided to the inmates.
