June 27, 2026 Honorable District & Sessions Judge Haripur, Mr. Asghar Shah, accompanied by Judicial Magistrate-I, Mr. Imtiaz, conducted a regular visit to Central Jail Haripur.
The honorable judges carried out a detailed inspection of various sections of the jail, which included:
- Women’s Ward (Zanan Khana)
- Hospital and Laboratory
- Administrative Block
- Ration Warehouse and Cookhouse (Langar Khana)
- Tuck Shop
- Undertrial Prisoners’ Barracks
- Jail Factory
During the tour, the honorable judges directly inquired from the undertrial prisoners about their issues. No complaints were received from the inmates regarding jail administrative affairs or facilities.
The honorable District & Sessions Judge expressed satisfaction with the overall cleanliness, management, and administrative situation of the jail.
