May 9, 2026 Superintendent Jail, Mr. Najam Hussain Abbasi, accompanied by senior authorities, organized a comprehensive prison parade at Central Jail Haripur. He was joined on this occasion by Deputy Superintendent Moqaddas Khan, all Assistant Superintendents, medical staff, teachers, and other relevant staff members.
The Jail Superintendent conducted a detailed inspection of various sections of the prison, including the jail hospital, cookhouse (langar khana), jail factory, and all sectors. He reviewed the cleanliness standards of the prisoners and the quality of various facilities provided to them.
Mr. Najam Hussain Abbasi met individually with the convicts and undertrial prisoners, listened to their grievances, and issued immediate orders on the spot to resolve several of their complaints.
