May 19, 2026 Under the directive of the respected Inspector General (IG) of Prisons Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Peshawar, a meeting of the Parole Sub-Committee was held today. The meeting was attended by District Probation Officer Mr. Khan Baz Khan, the District Public Prosecutor, civil society member Sajida Malik, Deputy Superintendent of Jail Mr. Moqaddas Khan, Deputy Superintendent of Jail Mr. Waqas Ali, and Deputy Superintendent of Jail Mr. Usman Javed.
The cases of all convicted prisoners confined in the jail were scrutinized for release on parole, under which no prisoner was found eligible.
