August 26, 2026 Marking the 12th of Rabi’ al-awwal, a grand and blessed ceremony was held at Central Jail Haripur in accordance with the special directives of Inspector General of Prisons, Mr. Rehan Gul Khattak, to celebrate Eid Milad-un-Nabi (peace be upon him) with deep religious fervor and reverence.
The event witnessed active and enthusiastic participation from the inmates. The program featured spiritual competitions and recitations:
- Quran Recitation & Naat-e-Khawani: Inmates participated with profound devotion, presenting heartfelt tributes to the Prophet (peace be upon him).
- Prize Distribution: Awards and prizes were distributed among the inmates who demonstrated exceptional performance in the competitions, significantly boosting their morale.
- Speeches & Special Prayers: Esteemed guests delivered faith-inspiring, reformative speeches highlighting the noble character and teachings of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him), followed by special prayers for the security, progress, and prosperity of Pakistan, the jail administration, the inmates, and the global Muslim Ummah.
To further mark the blessed occasion, special meals were arranged and served to all participants and prisoners. Designed to promote spiritual awareness, moral education, and constructive reform among detainees, the ceremony concluded in a deeply respectful, peaceful, and uplifting atmosphere.
