August 5, 2026 In accordance with special directives from the provincial government, Youm-e-Istehsal Kashmir was observed with solemnity at Central Jail Haripur on Wednesday, August 5, 2026. To express solidarity with the people of Kashmir, the jail administration organized an awareness walk within the facility, followed by the observance of a minute of silence.
Additionally, informational videos highlighting Youm-e-Istehsal Kashmir were broadcast on the LED display screen installed at the Prison Industry Display Center situated at Jail Chowk.
Throughout the premises, Pakistani and Kashmiri flags were prominently displayed, accompanied by slogans in support of the Kashmiri people’s struggle. The observance concluded with a special prayer offered for the oppressed people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
